UP woman hires hitman to kill wayward daughter. Then a twist

A 42-year-old woman who had hired a contract killer to murder her 17-year-old daughter was herself killed by the hitman, Uttar Pradesh Police said. The twist in the case came when it was revealed that the hitman was actually the daughter’s lover.
The incident took place in Etah district, where the woman, identified as Alka, was found strangled in a millet field on October 6. Her husband, Ramakant, had reported her missing after she failed to return home.
According to police, Alka was deeply troubled by her daughter’s relationship with another man and had decided to get rid of her. She contacted Subhash, who had recently been released from prison after serving time for rape. Alka offered Subhash Rs 50,000 to kill her daughter.
Little did Alka know that Subhash was already involved with her daughter. The two had been communicating through a mobile phone that Subhash had given her.
When Subhash learned of Alka’s plan, he informed the daughter. The daughter, instead of objecting, proposed marriage to Subhash and convinced him to kill her mother. Together, they devised a plan to pull the wool over Alka’s eyes and lure her to her death.
Subhash sent Alka staged photos of her daughter’s murder and demanded the agreed-upon contract money. The two met up in Agra, where Subhash revealed to Alka that he hadn’t killed her daughter.
After this, the teen and her hitman lover travelled together with Alka. They took her to a secluded location in Etah and strangled her, before disposing of her body in the millet field.
Police arrested the daughter and the contract killer, who are facing murder charges.
